Limoncello Pallini can transport you to the fabulousness of Italy’s Dolce Vita and its remarkable scenery. Think of Amalfi and its breathtaking Mediterranean landscape: mounts diving into the blue cobalt ocean connected by terraces of picturesque houses, all while the sweet scent of lemon blossoms pervades the air. This magical place is where Pallini Limoncello cultivates “Costa d’Amalfi PGI” lemons used to produce its remarkable limoncello.
This delicious type of lemon is also referred to as “Limone pane” (“bread lemon”) due to its edible peel, it’s the only lemon you can bite. Rich in vitamin C and refreshing essential oils, Limone Costa d’Amalfi PGI is known for its low acidity, sweet taste, and, last but not least, its unusually large size Pallini Limoncello is a natural liqueur that has been crafted by the Pallini family in Italy since 1875 and made according to a family recipe that dates back more than 100 years.
Hand-picked on the terraces of the Amalfi Coast and using traditional methods, these prized non-pesticide Sfusato lemons, exclusive to the Amalfi coast are peeled without the pith.
Pallini Limoncello is made using non-pesticide Sfusato Amalfi lemons, with a unique spindled shape. These large and heavy lemons are hand-harvested, then walked through steep hills for immediate transport to the distillery. The lemons are immediately peeled, paying special attention to peeling the zest from the lemons without the white bitter pith. The peels are vacuum sealed and used within 24 hours after they have been harvested. Our process ensures that only the yellow lemony part of the lemon is used for our limoncello.
The peels are then soaked in pure alcohol made only from natural molasses sugarbeets. The liquid is then sweetened with Italian sugarbeet sugar, and combined with additional lemon oils, a flavorful extra step unique to Pallini.
The final liqueur is color stabilized for consistency before bottling. Our limoncello is naturally gluten-free and has a Kosher certificate.
The final result is a spicy, tangy, fresh and crunchy liqueur. The purest essence of Italy in a bottle. Pallini Limoncello is extremely versatile and the perfect digestif: you can enjoy it at the end of a meal straight from the freezer like it is traditionally done in Italy, or mixed into countless cocktails.
